Quiet - Fallow is a rather nervous man, wary to the world around him, meaning he prefers to keep silent. In Fallow's eyes, talking only gets one into huge trouble. Through his silence, Fallow does enjoy a good, casual conversation and straying away from heated debates. That said, Mr. Carter has huge conflict issues. He hates fighting or violence at anytime or place, reason why he doesn't follow any kind of politics
Self-conscious - His scars are obvious, a large noticeable burn on the left side of his face. People dislike his "mask" almost as much as he does. Fallow would give anything to have his old face back, but that isn't possible. He lives in deep shame, hanging his head in public Sometimes, he wishes he was Erik from The Phantom of the Opera. Being able to hide his burn under a mask and live in solitude. Besides what graces his face, Fallow is rather comfortable with his body and isn't afraid to show it off on nice summer days
Loving - Behind his silence and solitude, Fallow is one of the most loving men you could possibly meet. He's helpful and loyal to his friends. He's always there to lend a helping hand or give advice he can. Often described as an old soul, Fallow's wise beyond his years. If he ever comes across a potential lover, he'll put his whole heart and soul into the relationship, though he is wary and shy around women.
Determined - Despite his calm nature, Fallow sees something he liked and will go after it. He's set high goals for himself in his career as an Equestrian. He often speaks of his beloved horse and the sport of Dressage. He plans to go far with his life, moving off the island to a more horse friendly country, such as England, where his father was born, and making it to the Olympics. These goals are very high though, and he doesn't have the money to accomplish this. So, he makes a living with his dancing stallion on the beach while looking for another job. Still, his plans are plans, and he hopes that some day soon, he can leave

history ---
--In Fallow's words--
Not much to say about my life really. I was your regular island kid. Spending days practically drinking sun screen and getting caught in rip tides. My father was a proper Englishman and taught me much of what I know about speech, also teaching me to speak French. I see more eye to eye with my mother though. She was of full Hawaiian blood. She taught me the language and all types of cool legends. Which I believed more than my father's tales of God.
I took an interest in horses after a family Holiday to Mexico where we rode on the beach. I was only six years old, but I was hooked. My horse's name was HopScotch, an ex racehorse. My father frowned upon my interest in Equestrian sport, often saying I should find a more "manly" interest, such as football, and that I couldn't go to college from riding horses. My mother was, of course, on my side. She claimed that horses taught people manners and coordination, and that it took true strength to ride an animal such as a horse. She won the argument and I began lessons at age seven
My life was fairly normal until I was accepted into the Spanish Riding Academy in Vienna. There I learned to train and ride the fabulous Lipizzaner horses. Things weren't all great near the end. I was eighteen at the time, and preparing to go home. I was walking through the city towards my apartment when these three guys appeared out of seemingly no where and jumped me. They beat me until I was nearly unconscious then took my money, passport and plane tickets, all I could do was watch in horror as the big guy put something on my face, then lit a match and threw it on me. The match landing on my left eye.
I remember horrible pain and me screaming. Instinct took over and I started to roll, unsure what I was really doing, but the fire was put out.. But it was too late for my eye. I had to walk to the hospital, luckily the adrenaline was holding the pain at bay. It wasn't until I reached the hospital I fainted, the pain too much to bear.
I was taken care of, having to stay in the hospital for weeks as my eye healed. The skin managed to heal enough, all the blisters and swelling gone, but it left a horrible red scar that will permanently grace my face. My parents had to come to Austria after I was healed enough to take me home. My father was disgusted by my new look, and blaming me for it. He told me I was a disgrace to all humanity. After a while of that. I believed him. My mother stood up for me though. Saying that I was still her beautiful son. I didn't believe her. I know I look like something crawling out of a horror film.
When I turned twenty, my mother got me a gift. A beautiful palomino Lusitano stallion. I was instantly in love with my new horse. I named him Makana, which is "gift" in Hawaiian. He was my gift.
At the age of twenty-two. I moved out of my parents house and found a place not far from there. Right on the beach. There Makana and I live and train in peace. I intend to keep it that way
